The Fluid Wings HK3 64 is a 64-square-foot, ultra-high-performance cross-braced canopy built for advanced canopy piloting (swooping) and Extreme Relative Work (XRW).
As part of the flagship HK project by Fluid Wings, this 27-cell wing features an aggressive airfoil designed to handle very high wing loadings, offering exceptional rear riser performance and intense stopping power.
Key Technical Specifications
Cell Count: 27 cells with internal cross-bracing.
Leading Edge: Tri-tapered design engineered to optimize efficiency and air intake.
Trailing Edge: Mini-rib architecture designed to provide a crisp shape and clean airflow.
Flight Dynamics: Steep glide slope with powerful lift generation on rear risers.
Line Configuration: Low-profile Vectran lines built to minimize drag.
Flight Profile & Performance
Harness Input: Highly responsive to harness inputs, requiring active piloting to maximize its swoop potential.
Specialized Purpose: Designed as a competition-tier wing rather than an everyday “fun jump” canopy, excelling at high-speed pond swooping and flying alongside wingsuits (XRW).
Opening Characteristics: Optimized primarily for high-altitude sub-terminal openings (such as hops-and-pops or XRW deployment), making regular sub-terminal or terminal deployment a critical consideration depending on whether you choose the standard or Terminal variant.
This is not a revised HK2, it is an entirely clean sheet design and is different in more ways than alike. Do not assume that it is the same performance or use as the HK2. The HK3 will generally outperform an HK2 two sizes smaller.
